Right now Home Builders are offering really lucrative incentives, to bring the Buyers out of the woodwork. Whether it’s an offering of paying property taxes, insurance or other upgrades, Builders are getting really creative.

Home Builders have been hit the hardest. With rising mortgage delinquencies, lenders are highly cautious. Home prices across the country are falling and inventory levels for Builders is excessively high. Homes that are finished are sitting empty for months, while the Builders cash is tied up in their inventory. Want a pool? Need a basement finished? Like the feel of granite counter tops? Builders are not easily giving up the fight to get people into their homes.

It would surprise you to know how many homes have all the latest in technological gadgetry, yet have failed to insure the contents of their home against the event of either a burglary or damage. If you want to protect your personal property, you need to be insuring your personal property with a home contents insurance.

What To Insure

You can arrange to insure any (or all) of the contents of your home under a home contents insurance policy. Nevertheless, if you have any personal belongings in your home over a certain £ value, then you should be discussing these with your home contents insurance provider – as in most cases property over a certain value needs to be declared independently (and, in certain cases, such as with expensive diamond engagement rings, they may need to be insured independently).

The result was twofold, first my business wasn't moving forward anywhere near as fast as I wanted, and second I would end up feeling very frustrated at the end of the day, feeling like I hadn't got anything valuable done that day.

How did I fix it?

As a Professional Home Stager one service I provide my clients with is a written detailed report called a consultation. A consultation gives a client the “blue print” to do the necessary work to prepare their homes for sale. It is great for the do it yourself homeowner who is serious about the selling process and wants to get the buyer’s eye perspective of how their property shows before the first buyer ever walks through the door. Many recommendations are covered in the consultation which are specifically tailored to each individual property.
